Coupon Savings Today

January 2nd, 2011 at 04:05 pm

Today I saved $35.30 in coupons. I shopped the sales at CVS, Walgreens, and Hancock Fabrics. My greatest savings were at CVS on grocery items.

My updated coupons savings for this year is:
$12.44 + 35.30 = $47.74

I hope I can keep this up all year.Smile I want to see how much I am saving by using coupons this year.

As for the $1.00 savings challenge I may discontinue it because I primarily use my debit card and do not carry any cash.

I don't use coupons very often, but when I do I like to transfer my coupon savings to my savings account. Good job on the couponing!

I'm still learning the fine art of couponing. I read about CVS and their discount dollars, but haven't got the nerve to jump in and try it yet. I'm still working up to it!

CVS is a great place for getting essentials for free or next to free. I'd love to see the breakdown of what you purchased, and any coupons used, to see how you saved over $35.
